- We do NOT record or store your video or audio calls

- We do NOT read your messages (there are no messages in Wilno)
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Core App Functionality
- Create and manage your account
- Connect you with friends when you're both available
- Send push notifications for autopilot matches and friend signals
- Display your profile picture and username to your friends
- Track call streaks and activity between friends
3.2 Autopilot Feature
- Match you with friends based on overlapping schedules
- Respect your frequency preferences (how often to match with specific friends)
- Send notifications when matches are found
3.3 App Improvement
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features
- Fix bugs and technical issues
- Monitor app performance and reliability
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Your Friends
We share limited information with people you've added as friends:
- Your username and profile picture
- When you're broadcasting (available for a call)
- Your call streak count with them
4.2 With Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate Wilno:
- Cloudflare: Hosting, security, and video infrastructure
- Push Notification Services: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS
- Email Service: For account verification and recovery
4.3 We NEVER:
- Sell your data to advertisers or third parties
- Share your data for marketing purposes
- Use your data to train AI models
- Give access to your call content to anyone

We may disclose your information if required by law, such as:

5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Where We Store Data
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Cloudflare. All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
5.2 Video Calls
Video and audio calls use peer-to-peer WebRTC technology when possible. This means:
- Calls are encrypted end-to-end
- Audio and video streams directly between you and your friend
- We do NOT record, store, or have access to call content
- Only connection metadata (duration, participants) is logged

6. Your Privacy Rights
6.1 Access and Control
You have the right to:

6.2 How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account at any time:
- Open Wilno app
- Go to Settings (Profile tab)
- Scroll to "Legal" section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm by typing your username
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (username, email, profile picture)
- All friend connections
- Your autopilot schedules
- Call history and streak data
6.3 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you're a California resident, you have additional rights:
- Right to know what data we collect and how we use it
- Right to delete your personal information
- Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (we don't sell data)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

- Autopilot matches (when friend schedules overlap)
- Friends broadcasting signals
- Account verification and recovery
You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time. Note that disabling notifications will affect autopilot functionality.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Wilno uses minimal tracking:
- Essential Cookies: Session management and authentication
- Local Storage: App preferences and settings
- No Analytics Cookies: We don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in compliance with applicable laws.
11. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- Active Accounts: Data retained while account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Data permanently deleted within 30 days
- Call Metadata: Retained for 90 days for debugging and improvement
- Legal Requirements: May retain certain data longer if required by law
