Open Wilno and enter a username and email address. No password needed — your account is created instantly and you'll land on the home screen.
Tap the search icon in the nav bar, type your friend's exact username, and tap Send Request. Once they accept, they'll appear in your Friends tab. If they're not on Wilno yet, tap Share App Link to invite them.
On the home screen, press and drag your avatar upward until you see Release to Launch, then let go. Your signal is now live — your friends will be notified that you're available.
When a friend launches a signal you'll get a push notification. Tap it to open the app, then tap Send Signal next to their name. You'll be connected instantly.
Calls
Yes. Calls start as audio by default. Once connected, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the call screen to switch to video at any time.
Try these steps:
Make sure both you and your friend have a stable internet connection (WiFi or 5G)
Check that Wilno has microphone and camera permissions in iPhone Settings
Yes. Wilno does not record, store, or have any access to your audio or video call content. Only connection metadata (duration, participants) is logged. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Autopilot
Autopilot lets you set a weekly schedule — which days and what time window you're free — and Wilno will automatically launch your signal during those times. No need to remember to open the app.
Go to the Friends tab, tap the calendar icon next to any friend, pick your target days and time window, then tap Activate Autopilot. You can set the same time for all days or customize per day.
Open the scheduling sheet (calendar icon next to your friend) and tap Cancel or deselect all days. Autopilot is deactivated immediately.
Notifications
Check the following:
Go to iPhone Settings → Wilno → Notifications and make sure they're enabled
Make sure you're not in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode
